The problem
Reconciling bank statements and tax invoices means connecting documents that do not always match one to one. Grouped payments, partial settlements and references require context. This work repeats throughout an accounting firm’s operations.

The solution
A custom system that processes bank statements and Mexican tax invoices, proposes matches and supports review. Its engine combines reconciliation rules with a language model to handle simple, multiple and partial relationships.

My contribution
Product design, architecture and full-stack development. I connect the accounting workflow with the user experience and the implementation of the reconciliation engine.

Current status
TimbraBot is in production and used in the client’s daily work. It is a custom development engagement, focused on solving a specific operational workflow and supporting its use.
Design decisions
The model operates within a workflow that also includes rules and human review. The accounting team can check the proposed matches.
